Meet Our Precious Wildlife Up Close
Squirrel monkey, White-faced capuchin, endangered Spider monkey, Coatis, Kinkajous, and many more. Our Special Wildlife Tour is from 9 AM until 11:30 AM, every day except Tuesday. The two-toed sloths in our sanctuary are ambassadors for educational purposes, because they were unreleasable for various reasons. Most of the sloths that we rescue are able to be put through our rehabilitation program and get released back to the wild. |

Here are some of the animals you will see in our sanctuary
- 5 types of monkeys, including Spider Monkeys, White Faced Monkeys,
- Coatis
- Two-toed sloths
- Nocturnal Kinkajous (if they are awake)

KIDS SAVING THE RAINFOREST (KSTR) specializes in the rescue and release of wild rainforest animals. There are many amazing and unique success stories to hear firsthand from our animal caretaker. In addition to helping injured and abandoned animals regain their health and return to the wild there are many animals which cannot be released, and KSTR offers safe sanctuary to them. Our unreleasable guests are given an environment in which they can thrive and enjoy life, along with great nourishment and care. As you can imagine, this takes a good deal of time and money to run a wildlife rescue center and sanctuary primarily funded from donations, volunteer stays and tours.
