Lexi, KSTR spokeskid, recently held a Skype session from Costa Rica with a class of first-graders in New York!Read Now
The children had a lot of questions about what they could do to help, and Lexi told them about our tree planting project and encouraged them to plant their own trees. She also shared how KSTR helped with 2 injured animals (an owl and a monkey) that she found near her house, both of whom were later released. Lexi also told them about recycling, decreasing single-use plastics, and other ways they can help from New York. This was a great international exchange, and the kids sent Thank You cards that were delivered to Lexi's door yesterday that showed they really enjoyed and understood our message. Thank you to Jessica Duffy and Poestenkill Elementary School for your interest in our program and for educating the next generation!
