This is Jewels , a new adult three toed that has come to us after falling from a tree. A few tests showed she's extremely anemic, but she's getting stronger every day!
So every now and then when I'm cleaning out the hawk enclosures on a hot day I see if the hawks want a lot of rain. The broad wing hawk always loves it but the white hawk only likes it when she's in the right mood. And today she was! :)
Here's a video of Earth Day 2017 for Kids Saving The Rainforest. Thank you Timothy Murray and all of our supporters!
So excited about the successful Earth Day yesterday! The challenge was 300 trees planted and with the help of our workers we planted over 300 with about 50 members of the community helping. KSTR loves our community!!!
Of all the great material we collected today I believe this video to be IT! Earth Day is coming to an end. Thank you Jennifer for the organization of the initiative!!!. Kids Saving the Rainforest, Titi Conservation Alliance, and so many members of the MA community joined today to raise awareness for these amazing causes and of course the most important - we planted 300 trees. Why? ... because the Earth gives us Food, Energy & Oxygen! <3 #BelieveTheLittleOnes - these Kids are saving the Rainforest!
