One of KSTR's
sister schools, The Floeng School in Copenhagen,
Denmark, had a Costa Rican dinner fundraiser where they raised almost $500 to
help save the rainforest! Ms. Trad's 5th grade, 25 students, hosted the dinner, where
they sold artwork they had made. Jamie
Schless, Nicolai Olsen
and Alexander Larsen presented information to the almost 100 people who
attended the dinner. Jennifer Rice,
President of KSTR, went to Denmark and spoke to the school about KSTR and
the rainforest in November. Since then the kids have been actively involved in helping to save
the rainforest! The 25 students have
asked if they can become members of KSTR. We voted them in as members.
